Credential Manager (or Windows Vault) allows applications to securely store credentials like usernames and passwords which are used to log on to websites or other computers on a network. This way Windows can automatically log you on to websites or other computers.
You can view these stored credentials (except passwords) in Credential Manager section of Control Panel as shown below,
Windows Vault Password Decryptor help you to automatically decrypt and show all these stored username & passwords from Windows Vault/Credential Manager.

Windows Vault Password Decryptor is easy to use with its simple GUI & command-line interface. Here are the brief usage details for both GUI and
command line version. |
|
- Launch Windows Vault Password Decryptor.exe on your system. If you are Admin use then make sure you 'Run As Administrator' else only partial passwords will be recovered.
- Next click on 'Start
Recovery' button and all stored passwords from Windows Vault will be displayed as shownbelow.
- Now you can right click on the list and quickly copy the Password
- Finally you can save all recovered password list to
HTML/XML/Text/CSV
file by clicking on 'Report' button and then select the type
of file from the drop down box of 'Save File Dialog'.

It automatically detects the mode (HTML or XML or Text) by using the extension
of the specified file (html or xml or txt). By default (or if no extension is
specified) it uses the TEXT mode. For more examples refer to Screenshot 2
below. |

This tool is designed with a good purpose to help users to recover
their lost credentials. Note that only authorized user can
recover their respective passwords and it is not possible to recover
other user's password on multi-user system unless the user have proper
credentials. Like any tool its use either good or
bad, depends upon the user who uses it. However author is not
responsible for any damage caused due to misuse of this tool.
